The idea that anything can be done simply with hard work is outdated. Inspiration is not a soft business concept, it's a critical one. Inspiration is a powerful motivator, pushing us to do our best and most important work. The lack of it creates turnover and makes businesses vulnerable to competition. Today, more than ever, inspiration is precisely the thing that elevates us, which is why we continue to search for it. It is anything but mindless.

At
HumansAreSocial, we work with an entirely new approach to creative, based on the principles of inspiration. We are captivated and motivated by the incredible things that people can do. From artists to businesspeople, we think people who make things are amazing. And we work to serve those communities and their endeavors by creating work that satisfies the search.

Making it? That comes easy to us.

How does this differ from other creative agencies? First, we've flipped the script on the creative process because we believe our clients already have great ideas, interesting things happening in their own walls and possess deep knowledge we can pull from.

And second, we are built for speed. Inspiration builds fast and dies quickly. By staying nimble and always 100% engaged on our projects from start to finish, we keep a pace that is more aligned with the true nature of what excites all of us about making things.

FROM THE STREETS TO THE SKY

The US Bank Tower building in Los Angeles is an icon in and of itself. As one of the truly defining features of the LA skyline, it plays a central role in defining the city. And yet, for such an indelible part of such a creative place, nobody has a great sense of what goes on inside it. Even its name evokes images of stuffy suits and cube farms. Yet, nothing could be further from the truth. The US Bank Tower sports a restaurant, a beautiful lobby with concierge, event space, a production space and even an exterior slide. In many ways, the building is the embodiment of Los Angeles' creative spirit. Humans were hired as part of a rebranding effort to help attract newer, more creative tenents. The project brought in well-known street artists from around the city and invited them up to the top floor of the building to create murlas that touched on their artistry and what they love about the city, over the course of a week. We created as short documentary of the process and even worked with them on the soundbites that were used in media.

Josh S. Rose had a 17-year stint within the Interpublic Group of Agencies (IPG) where he held titles: Executive Creative Director, Group Creative Director and Chief Creative Officer. Under his leadership, two different agencies received numerous awards at Cannes and were named Agency of the Year, Integrated Agency of the Year, Large Agency of the year, Creative Agency of the Year and regularly made the Ad Age A-List.

Rose led integrated creative duties on accounts such as Volkswagen, Dr Pepper, Playstation, Fisher-Price and many others. Rose was the creative lead for the launch of the Affordable Care Act and oversaw all social media content for the US Army.

Today, Rose is CEO/Founder of HumansAreSocial, and considers his primary job to create and sustain energy, excitement and inspiration for creative projects. Rose steps in as Writer/Director on a number of narrative projects.

Sean Levitan is a branding black belt, creator and producer with an entrepreneurial spirit who loves collaborating with people to grow companies. Sean launched his own successful e-commerce clothing brand, Inner Thread, and has made his mark working with top healthcare companies, entertainers, and boutique local brands.

 

Sean is Executive Producer and a business partner at HumansAreSocial where he engages on all accounts, setting and keeping the pace of the projects, ensuring greatness and sprinkling his infectious, calming presence on everything. 

SEAN LEVITAN

Rae is a copywriter/brand strategist dedicated to working on POC-driven projects and initiatives. With a background in art history and editorial writing, she approaches branding work with a keen discernment toward the why and how of a brand's audience and purpose. She values challenging her clients to think critically about how messaging and tone can offer new ways of connecting authentically to create progress in the world. She's worked on a variety of verticles including blogs, pitch decks, social media, emails, mission statements, web copy etc. across industries such as fashion, design, beauty, and tech. As a freelancer, she's partnered with brand agencies and art directors across the country to build winning brands. She's looking to continue to partner with people that are fostering new intersectional narratives in re-writing the way we build businesses and communicate to consumers.
